CAROL A. SKAFF
Ginger Ellis

PROFILE

  • 15 years in agency account service & management
  • 10 years in corporate marketing
  • Accredited by the Public Relations Society of America

Beginning her career as a continuity writer at a Wichita radio station, Carol Skaff learned word economy and audience targeting. With a degree in English Language & Literature, and a minor in Journalism, she has spent her 25-year career as an agency executive, client and corporate marketer.

Corporate experience brings into sharp focus the complexity of client needs. As marketing officer at the former Fourth Financial Corporation for two years, Carol managed marketing for community banks across the state, partnering with the advertising agency to enhance image and direct day-to-day campaign efforts. During her eight years at Pioneer Balloon Company, she managed a $1 million annual marketing budget which included new product development, national trade advertising and marketing collateral.

Carol’s combination of corporate and agency experience give her a unique insight into client needs. Her client-centered service philosophy is the result of 15 years’ experience in the small and large agency settings as copywriter, account executive, and director of public relations.

Community involvements provide valuable insights that often benefit clients. To keep a pulse on issues, Carol currently serves on the District VI Citizen Advisory Board. A member of Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) since 1985, she has maintained her professional accreditation and served a variety of leadership roles on the local and national levels. Carol has also served as president and board member at-large on the Old Town Association, and is a graduate of the Wichita Metro Chamber’s Leadership Wichita Class of 1998. She currently is an adjunct Public Relations instructor at Newman University.
